Manchester Irish Festival search for new Family to appear on Channel 4’s The Family
This years Manchester Irish Festival and Dragonfly Film and Television Productions Ltd are joining forces during the St Patrick’s weekend celebrations to try and find the next ‘Family’ to appear in channel 4’s ‘The Family series’.
The production crew will be visiting the Albert Square entertainments Marquee sponsored by Mulligans of Deansgate in the city centre on Friday 12 March, Saturday 13 March and Sunday 14 March. The crew will be interviewing perspective families from 5pm to 7pm on the Friday, 12noon to 6pm on the Saturday and 11am to 12.30 on the Sunday. They will also be in the Irish Festival Craft market after the St Patrick’s Day Parade from 3pm to 5pm.
TV researcher Katy McCellan said “we would love to meet as many families as we can during the St Patrick’s weekend for an informal chat and interview in the marquee.”
For further information about the event potential families can contact the organisers by emailing family@dragonfly.tv or just turn up on the day.
