Kevin Fitzpatrick, Co-chair of the Manchester Irish Festival and the North West Heineken team has just spent the day with celebrity Chef Marco Pierre White at his restaurant at Chelsea Football ground in London.

Kevin and Heineken had won a day of training with the celebrity chef at his famous restaurant. Kevin who manages the multi award winning St Kent’s Irish Club and Heineken had donated a sum of money to charity to secure their day in the capital. They were treated to a cooked breakfast and lunch with champagne and a full day of watching the master chef at work.

When asked about how he felt about the experience, Kevin replied “It was a great trip; I was after some tips for my charity cook off on St Patrick’s Day in Manchester. Lawrence Hennigan from the Levenshulme Pub Company reckons he can cook a better banger than me, so I have already started some training. We are doing our annual massive Charity fry up for the Irish Community on St Patrick’s morning and Lawrence has promised a free barrel of Heineken if he does not win.”
