Zak Jordan the son of Ireland’s F1 legend Eddie Jordan is currently playing in this years World Lacrosse Championships in Manchester. Zak plays in the number 8 shirt for Ireland in a midfield position for his country. The team were undefeated in their group winning all four opening games against Korea, Slovakia, Switzerland and Sweden, managing to score a record breaking 96 goals in their first five games. They narrowly lost out to Scotland in the quarter finals and are competing in a lay off on Friday 23 July for ninth position.

Eddie flew over to Manchester to cheer his son on in the competition, He was asked by a reporter in the local media if he would follow his son in playing Lacrosse to which the the F1 legend replied “Do I play? Do I Hell. It’s far too rough. I’ll stick to cars.”
