Dance Events 2012
Learn those steps with Ciara Kennedy or Keegan Academy where like James Keegan you can the world how it is done. Enjoy the craic set dancing at the IWHC or the Town Hall Ceili with plenty of showbands too or you can watch Reel Rhythms do all the hard work!
Pub and Club Events 2012
There is always a big Irish welcome waiting for you in our Pub and Clubs. Special festival events range from Traditional Irish music sessions, live bands and Disco Club nights, through to darts competitions and quizzes.
Arts Events 2012
From the National Irish Studies Conference with Irish Language taster sessions in the Town Hall to exhibitions of photographs and water colours, story telling, dance, music, song and films including the ‘Beautiful people’ UK film premiere, the festival has it all.
Comedy Events 2012
From the return Mike Harding to the Irish Comedy Nights at the Frog and Bucket and not forgetting Jimeoin: Lovely! An Irish Comedy Special, there's plenty to laugh at during the Irish Festival. PS. Mrs. Brown is in mourning.
Community Events 2012
Irish Community events range from those organised by Irish Community Care for seniors, the craic at the Festival Market in Albert Square, through to news and music for Irish Mancunians on Irish Community Radio shows across Manchester.
Sport Events 2012
Gaelic Sports including the Underage Gaelic Football & the Over 35s 7 a side Gaelic Football Blitz sessions, Darts Competitions and of course events linked to the bRBS 6 Nations Rugby and the Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival!
