Heats for 2012 Manchester Irish Festival Battle of Bands 25 Jan - 15 Feb

This is a heat for this years Manchester Irish Festival Battle of the Bands who will be competing to win this years title plus £500 worth of prizes and the chance to officially open this years 17 day Tradfest for the Festival on Friday 2 March. This free concert will feature the very best of traditional and contemporary Irish talent and uncover the next Oasis super group to come out of Burnage.
The competition with over £500 worth of prizes been hosted by Jimmy Docherty from the Northern Song Collective. Jimmy is a very talented musician, who is Ronan Keatings guitarist. He started the competition to find the next big thing to come out of the City. The concert takes place in the world famous 'Oasis Music Bar' at the Farmers Arms.
