Guinness and the Levenshulme Pub company are once again sponsoring the annual Irish Blues Festival which launches this years two week Tradfest at m19 bar and venue in Levenshulme.

Fresh from his appearance at Celtic Connections, Sean Taylor headlines the night again and will be featuring work from his highly acclaimed Blues album which was recorded in Dublin.

Flying over from Dublin to be in the Festival are one of Ireland's hottest Blues act ‘Preachers Son’ and singer songwriter Mairead Farrell.

Other acts playing on the night include Levenshulme’s Zacc Rogers, Ged Wilson, New Leaves and Midnight Mafia. It promises to be a legendary start to the festival and advance booking is recommended.

The acts will be playing tribute to some of Ireland’s favourite Blues artists such as Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Rory Gallagher and Thin Lizzy plus their own material.

Ticket prices are being subsidised by Guinness and are just £3 advance or £5 on the door
