From Medjugorje to Mary's Meals

A Social Evening is being held at St. Kentigern’s Club, Fallowfield on 19th March with great music by Kevin Deasy’s Band ‘The Last Drop’ plus invited guests such as Joe Casserley.

All services have been offered free of charge by the Club Manager Kevin Fitzpatrick.

In June 2009 a group of women from Manchester went on pilgrimage to Medjugorje whilst they were there they were invited to an International Conference for a Charity called Mary’s Meals. The group returned home inspired to work for Mary’s Meals.

Now the women are trying to raise £7,000 to establish a school kitchen with fuel efficient stoves in one of the villages. The work of cooking, managing the stores and organizing rotas is carried out by local volunteers
