John McNicholl was born in a small village called Foreglen Co, Derry Northern Ireland, the second youngest of a family of fifteen children.

Johns family were all brought up with music in their ears, music played from traditional Irish to country , which John as a child thoroughly enjoyed.

During his school days John carried on his ambitions and acted and sang in musicals and even did a spot of dancing and that's where his Irish dancing skills came in to their own.

John Mc Nicholl has become a force to be reckoned with as he formed his own band and went on the road entertaining and singing his way around Ireland and abroad

John has a very warm personality and instant appeal to all who meet and are entertained by him.
