Manchester’s top traditional group ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ headline this very special tribute night to mark the sad demise of Liam Clancy the last remaining member of Ireland’s traditional super-group – The Clancy brothers.

Special guests include the award winning Flute player Carmel Gunning from Sligo, Tommy Makem’s cousin Sean Grew from Northampton, plus Colleen's Fancy from Hull, and upcoming Irish singer Samantha Court from Bolton.

Carmel is also a multi instrumentalist and has a rich traditional ballad voice. She travels world wide performing and teaching at different festivals all year round. She is the Director of The Carmel Gunning International Summer School Festival held in Sligo Town in August yearly and has produced 5 CDs to date. The latest being "The Sligo Maid" and "Corran Hill".
