Sunday 5th March The Sunday Afternoon Session with Driftwood Time: 4pm- 7pm
This Sunday Afternoon session has become a legendary fixture of Levenshulme Village, with the emphasis on having a great time. Expect a lively afternoon of good old ‘Craic’ and Irish Music that makes you want to dance. South Manchester’s most popular Irish Band, “Driftwood” play a fine selection of country and Irish music.

Sunday 5th March The Sunday Evening Session with DJ Rob Time: 8pm – late Get ready for a massive Irish party with South Manchester’s “up for anything” DJ Rob playing the very best of his Irish collection featuring everything from traditional Irish tunes to the Celtic Rock of the ‘Saw Doctors’ and a fair amount of ‘Thin Lizzy’ squeezed in for good measure. Wednesday 8th March ‘Soccer v Gaelic Photographic Exhibition’ by Tony Hennigan & Ged
the Camera Time: 7pm A unique photographic exhibition examining which sport is better and hopefully answering such age-old questions as “is David Beckham better looking than Mayo’s Ciaran McDonald?” ‘Tony Hennigan’ and ‘Ged the Camera’ will be exhibiting their work which features shots of local Gaelic football, ALL Ireland Qualifying matches between Mayo and Cavan and Premiership Derby matches between Manchester City and Manchester United. Plus traditional Irish Music til late with the hotly tipped traditional Irish Music group ‘The Long Road’ featuring award winning Banjo player ‘John Joyce’ and Fergal O’Neil. Guest musicians welcome. Prints of photographs in the exhibition are available. All profits donated
to St Anne’s Hospice.

| Thursday 9th March ‘The Palace Nightclub - Gone but not forgotten’ Dave Brunton, Tony Hennigan and Ged Noonan Time: 7pm The Palace Nightclub, which opened its doors to the city’s Irish community
in September 1989 was recently sold. Dave Brunton, Ged Noonan and Tony Hennigan have
produced a documentary exhibition of the stars of Music, Comedy and Sport who have
graced its doors from Republic of Ireland star Niall Quinn to Ardal O’Hanlon,
Peter Kay and Toss the Feathers, alongside the community that supported it.

Monday 13th March ‘Manchester Irish Festival Parade’ photo exibition by Ged Noonan, Dave Brunton & Tony Hennigan Time: 7pm The Manchester Irish Festival Arts collective of photographers ‘Ged Noonan’, ‘Dave Brunton’ and ‘Tony Hennigan’ exhibit their work featuring the annual Irish festival parade with photographs from the last five years. Prints are on sale with all proceeds going to St Anne’s Hospice. Sponsored by

Wednesday 15th March ALL FM Radio’s Full Irish Traditional Irish Session Live Music with ‘The Long Road’ plus Traditional Irish session Time: 7pm Joe Casserley and all the team from ALL FM Radio’s Irish programme ‘The Full Irish’ will be on air from 7pm - 9pm and in the Union afterwards with Live Traditional Irish Music by ‘The Long Road’.
