Gaelic Mass

Irish World Heritage Centre

10am

As in previous years the Parade Day commences with Mass at 10 am celebrated by Fr. John Ahern.

The Mass will be in Gaelic as also the hymns backed by young traditional musicians. The celebration is a reminder of the rich cultural heritage which is ours as Irish people and a fitting way of honouring St Patrick, our national Patron. All Welcome.

paradeCome join in the UK's largest St Patrick's Parade, with over 70 floats, bands and walking groups.

This not to be missed family event celebrates Irelands Patron Saint and attracts people of all ages from across Greater Manchester and beyond.

Starting after the traditional Gaelic Mass the Parade leaves the Irish World Heritage Centre and progress along Cheetham Hill Rd, Corporation Street and onto Cross St and around Albert Square, before returning to the Irish World Heritage Centre by the same route.
