on from previous year’s successful events, Manchester Markets
is again delighted to announce the return of the famous Manchester
Irish Festival Market for 2006.
Once again, the market will be held in Albert Square, outside the historic Manchester Town Hall, and will feature the very best in Irish art and crafts and foods associated with the famous old country.
This will in fact be the 11th Annual Irish Festival and it promises to be ‘bigger and better’ than ever before.
We will be bringing you a real taste of Ireland, with authentic
Irish goods and food, which gives you a real opportunity to sample a small
taste of what Ireland has to offer. We look forward to seeing you there during
the festivities and hopefully, enjoying the craic as well.

Now in its fourth year the Manchester Irish Festival is proud to bring you our Festival on the Square. Featuring a range of entertainment for all the family, Manchester’s best, such as The Green Hot Clover, Barry James and Trad Lizzy.
Supported by The Outdoor Bar Company, Heineken and O’Shea’s Irish Bar, all profits from this venture are donated to the Festival’s Operational Fund. This is fast becoming one of the most popular parts of the festival with everything from face painting for the kids to a staging point for a great night out at our many festival venues throughout the City.
