Whiskey in the Jar Sunday Afternoon Party The Pack Horse One of Manchester’s favourite Irish folk bands host this special lively
afternoon of traditional Irish Music and Song, Jigs & Reels. Young, Gifted & Green’ anniversary
Irish Charity Concert St Bede’s College St Bede’s College award winning troupe of over one hundred Irish dancers, singers and musicians will be performing in a show compered by Alan Keegan from BBC GMR. Featuring special guests and the Keegan Kennedy School of Irish Dancing. The show was created to launch Manchester’s first Irish Festival in 1996 and has since been featured on numerous national TV shows. The event will be raising funds for ‘St Anne’s’ & ‘Francis House Hospice’, along with African aids orphanage ‘TLC’. Young, Gifted & Green, have built a legendary status with their sell-out shows at places like the Bridgewater Hall, The Royal Festival Hall in London, Manchester Town Hall and the Palace Nightclub. They have appeared on numerous TV shows from the BBC’s Blue Peter to Songs of Praise and Granada TV. One of its former principal dancers is the three times world champion ‘James Keegan’ who is the current principal of the world famous ‘Lord of the Dance’ show.

The Sunday Afternoon Session with Driftwood Union Inn This Sunday Afternoon session has become a legendary fixture of Levenshulme Village, with the emphasis on having a great time.
