This years sees the return of the ever popular Irish
Craft and Gift Market with an increased number of stalls and traders selling
a range of Celtic gifts, crafts and produce.
During your visit why not call in to the ‘The
Pantry Irish Festival Café’ situated inside the
Town Hall where Manchester Fayre will be serving a traditional range of
Irish Foods.
Tourism Ireland are joining the activities
on St Anne's Square and Albert Square,
bringing a Taste of Ireland with a host of exhibitors and lots of prizes
to be won.
To add to the entertainment on the Albert Square this
year sees the return of the “Budweiser Beer Tent”
This very popular attraction will include a host of local musicians and
as always all profits made in the “Budweiser Beer Tent” will
contribute to the ongoing success of future festivals.
The market boasts a glorious selection of gifts and
produce from all over Ireland, some of the traders have been coming every
year with their unique range of quality Irish gifts and new traders are
welcomed every year so there is always something different to see.
Hand crafted ceramics and Celtic jewellery are always
popular, along with traditional Irish produce such as home baked soda
bread, savoury pies and cakes; cheeses, fudge and truffles, bringing a
taste of Ireland to the cobbles of Albert Square.
