DJ Mark K is behind the decks playing everything from Westlife to U2 in
celebration of Dublin's hip and happening Arts
Quarter. The Party takes place in the newly refurbished Temple Bar on
the ground floor of the Palace Nightclub. With its leather sofas, gallons
of
Guinness and a vibrant Celtic soundtrack, you could almost think you were
in the heart of Dublin.

Concert
in aid of Francis House with BBC GMRs 'The Parlour'.
Young,
Gifted & Green's troupe of Irish Dancers, Musicians & Singers
return to the Palace Nightclub for an intimate concert in aid of Francis
House
Children's Hospice. Alan Keegan from BBC GMR's 'The Parlour' will compere
the show and broadcast his show live at the beginning of the concert.
After their sell out 2,000 capacity show at the ridgewater Hall, tickets
for this 300 capacity concert will sell out very fast.
Admission is strictly
by advance ticket only

Toss the Feathers: the
reunion
The
legendary Celtic Rock group have brought together their classic line up
for this special one off concert for the Manchester Irish Festival.
On guitar and vocals is Eddie Sheehan, Eddie now lives in Dublin and is
being flown in for this special event.The
Award winning Michael McGoldrick (BBC Radio 2's Folk instrumentalist of
the Year) who since leaving the group has become a very successful solo
artist comes back on flute & pipes. Dezi
fiddle on Fire Donnelly (RTE Young Traditional Musician of the Year) comes
back on fiddle. Dave Smylie the founding member of the band is as usual
on Bass.

Manchester Irish Festival MSU 11-17s Club Night
in aid of the Street Children of Brazil
Manchester Schools
Unite is a unique club night for the city's 11-17 year olds. With over
600 members from 23 different schools throughout Greater
Manchester. This event will be raising money for the Street Children of
Brazil. It has become one of the city's premier club nights for its teenage
population.
This Irish Festival special features a mainstream Disco plus a 'Pop Pupils'
competition, Playstation 2 games room and dance mats.
No alcohol or smoking
is allowed and admission is by advance ticket only.

St Patrick's Night Special with
"Lochin" and Alan Keegan from BBC GMR's Irish
programme 'The Parlour' host's the legendary St Patrick's Night celebrations
at the Palace Nightlub in Levenshulme as one of the highlights of the
Manchester Irish Festival.
"Lochin"
Trad and then Some...
Lochin's music is a rich mix of traditional song and lively tunes with
a good sprinkling of the more contemporary. They have been together for
almost two years and have toured Ireland and Finland in that short time.
