• BBC GMR will be out and about at most of the Irish Festival events, including the Parade. Tune into ‘The Parlour’ for an update on what’s going on in the media. The Parlour is now one of the longest running Irish radio programmes in the whole of the UK. It started off in 1984 with a group of people from a number of different Irish organisations all over Greater Manchester. The guests include representatives from all the well-known parts of Irish Manchester. The more
famous guests include Albert Reynolds, Daniel O'Donnell, Neil Kinnock, The programme
itself is broadcast each Monday evening from 7pm till 8pm on 95.1
Coverage will include
regular updates on events, giveaways and interviews with some Programme Manager, Ashley Byrne says“ 104.9 Imagine FM is delighted to be involved in the Festival. There’s a huge Irish Community right across Greater Manchester and we’re proud to be able to support such an exciting Festival.” Imagine FM broadcasts
right across South Manchester on 104.9FM.
• ALL FM 96.9 will be broadcasting a special‘ Irish Hour’ every day on the Breakfast Show between 9 and 10. So look out for some great tunes, quality interviews and a look at some events contributing to this festival. David Hennigan and James Butterworth will present a lively show right through to St Patrick’s Day. On Sunday, Andy Murphy will present his regular Irish Show ‘On Eire’ from 2pm till 4pm.
• Tune into Wythenshawe FM - 97.2FM, during the festival and hear the regular Irish Show with John Lowry on Every Saturday from 12 till 2pm. You can find out the latest on the Festival, as well as big giveaways. If you would like
