the Feathers - The Reunion On guitar and vocals is Eddie Sheehan, Eddie now lives in Dublin and is flying over for this special event. The Award winning Michael McGoldrick (BBC Radio 2’s Folk Instrumentalist of the Year) who since leaving the group has become a very successful solo artist, comes back on flute and pipes. Dezi ‘Fiddles on Fire’ Donnolly (RTE Traditional Musician of the Year) comes back on fiddle. Finally Dave Smylie, the founding member of the band is, as usual on Bass. Lochin’s music
is a rich mix of traditional song and lively tunes with a good sprinkling
of the more contemporary mixed in. They have been together for almost
two years and have toured Ireland and Finland in that short time. Full
of DJ and compere Alan Keegan is from BBC GMR’s Irish Programme‘ The Parlour’.
