St. Patrick's Day
The 2002
Manchester Irish Festival reached its climax at the weekend when tens
of thousands of people lined the city centre streets for the St. Patrick's
Day Parade
.
The Parade took place in glorious sunshine as the biggest Irish Festival
crowd ever seen flocked to Albert Square to watch the parade of over 60
floats and marching bands. Once again the hugely popular Irish Festival
Craft and Gift Market was a roaring success with many of the 50 strong
Irish traders stalls completely sold out by the end of the weekend.
