Culainn were formed in 1998 by John Bilek and Martin Clooney along with former members of Toss the Feathers and Rattle 'n' Reel. A regular feature at O'Shea's, Culainn are a highly celebrated Irish Mancunian export, fusing rock with traditional Irish music. A must see.

This is the final of 'Boddingtons YGG Unsigned 2002' competition. The competition, which is supported by former Oasis drummer Tony McCarroll, aims to find the best unsigned band with Irish roots and help them on the road to fame and fortune.

Six bands out of 200 entries from all over the UK and Ireland have made it through to tonight's final. With over £1,500 worth of prizes the event is one of the highlights of the festival.
