Details: Local poet Holden Caulfield talks about the life, times, and
poetry of Nobel and Whitbread prizewinning Irish poet Seamus Heaney, from
Death of a Naturalist to Beowulf. This isn’t an academic talk... anyone
with an interest in Heaney and poetry in general will be very welcome.
Its an opportunity to listen to some of Heaney’s words and to see how
his life growing up on a farm in Derry and going away to school at Anahorish
has shaped his work.
